“We Are Building a Production Network that Draws Strength from One Another”

Delivering the opening speech, Esin Güral Argat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KUTSO, stated that the supply chain meetings were not merely events that brought companies together under one roof, but provided a strong platform for cooperation that would help shape Kütahya’s economic future.

Emphasising that Kütahya’s economic growth should be driven by the collective contribution of different sectors and businesses of all sizes, Güral Argat said:

“Kütahya’s economy must grow; however, this growth cannot rest on the shoulders of a single sector or a handful of large companies. What we need is a strong and resilient economy built on multiple pillars, one that is not dependent on a single sector and in which businesses of every size, large and small, can prosper. Through our supply chain meetings, we aim to go beyond providing individual support to companies and instead build a production network in which businesses draw strength from one another.”

Güral Argat continued:

“Our aim is for every meeting held here to lead to a new order, a lasting partnership and a strong commercial relationship. We want to create an economic structure in which companies in Kütahya meet their needs from local sources wherever possible, while our local businesses become more strongly integrated into national and international supply chains.”

Foundations Laid for New Partnerships

Following the opening programme, one-to-one business meetings were held between representatives of purchasing companies and manufacturing and supplier businesses. Companies had the opportunity to present their products and services directly to purchasing decision-makers, explore potential areas of cooperation and establish new commercial connections.

Concluding her remarks by thanking everyone who contributed to the organisation, KUTSO Chairman of the Board of Directors Esin Güral Argat said:

“A strong supply chain means strong production, and strong production means a strong future. Our strength comes from Kütahya; together, we move forward.”
