KUTSO BOARD VISITS MEMBERS TO DISCUSS SECTORAL DEVELOPMENTS FIRST-HAND

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KUTSO), Esin Güral Argat, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Fatih Alkış, and Chairman of the Member Relations Coordination Board Emin Yüce visited member businesses operating across a range of sectors as part of the Chamber’s member engagement programme.

The programme commenced with a visit to Yunus Furkan Akbal, representative of Fuzul Tasarruf Finansman A.Ş. Kütahya Branch. Discussions focused on recent developments in the savings financing sector, growing public interest in interest-free financing models, changes in housing and vehicle financing, and the sector’s expectations. The meeting also covered economic activity in Kütahya and the impact of access to finance on the business community. Yunus Furkan Akbal provided information on the company’s operations and the services offered through its savings financing system.

The delegation then visited Sultan Çatal Şevval Mobilya, where recent developments in the furniture sector, the company’s operations, industry needs, and future expectations were discussed. The Chamber also listened to members’ views and suggestions while providing information on KUTSO’s ongoing initiatives and member services.

As part of the programme, the delegation visited İsmail Özçobanlar (Çiçekçi İsmail), representative of NİLL Doğalgaz Mühendislik Danışmanlık İnşaat Tarım ve Hayvancılık Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, which operates in landscaping and floriculture. Discussions covered current developments in the floriculture sector, production and supply processes, seasonal demand, and the industry's current needs.

KUTSO’s Board also met with real estate consultant Rıza Kenan Uzman to discuss developments in the property market, investor trends, demand for commercial real estate, Kütahya’s growth potential, and the contribution of the real estate sector to the local economy.

The delegation continued its programme with a visit to Recep Çakır Ofis Mobilyaları, where discussions focused on changing customer expectations in the office furniture sector, functionality and ergonomics in workplace design, developments in corporate projects, and production and sales processes. Company representatives shared information on bespoke design projects, while the KUTSO Board underlined the importance of quality, design, and customer satisfaction within the sector.

The delegation also visited Erim Emlak, where views were exchanged on the company’s activities, developments in the real estate sector, and current issues affecting members.

Another visit was paid to Muhammet Ali Atagün, representative of Atagün Mimarlık İnşaat Gıda Turizm Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi. Discussions centred on recent developments in the construction and architecture sectors, investment processes, and sectoral needs. Muhammet Ali Atagün provided information on the company’s ongoing projects. Chairman Esin Güral Argat emphasised that KUTSO places great importance on maintaining regular dialogue with its members, noting that feedback received directly from businesses helps shape the Chamber’s work. She added that members’ concerns and recommendations would continue to be addressed in cooperation with the relevant institutions through a solution-oriented approach.

As part of the programme, the delegation also visited Sinpaş Tasarruf Finansman A.Ş. Kütahya Central Branch. Discussions focused on alternative financing models, the development of the savings-based financing system, businesses’ access to finance, and the current outlook for the financial services sector. Company representatives shared information on their operations, while the KUTSO Board highlighted the contribution of a diversified financial sector to investment and commercial activity.

During a visit to Mustafa Berber İnşaat, discussions covered ongoing construction projects, rising costs, the need for a skilled workforce, investment trends, and urban regeneration initiatives. Company representatives outlined their planned investments, while the KUTSO Board reaffirmed that the Chamber continues to monitor closely the challenges faced by production- and investment-oriented businesses.

One of the final visits was to Türkerler Seç Yapı İnşaat Gıda Nakliyat Taahhüt Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, where the delegation met with company representative Mehmet Türker. The meeting focused on recent developments in the construction sector, the company’s activities, sectoral expectations, and members’ requests and suggestions, alongside an update on KUTSO’s ongoing services and initiatives for its members.

The programme concluded with commemorative photographs at each company visited and the exchange of mutual good wishes.
