KUTSO CONDUCTS MEMBER VISITS TO ASSESS SECTORAL DEVELOPMENTS ON SITE

The delegation of the Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KUTSO), comprising Chairman of the Board of Directors Esin Güral Argat, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Emin Yüce, Treasurer and Board Member Tolga Eskioğlu, and Board Members Fatih Alkış, Melih Aslan and Semra Tozaraydın, visited member businesses operating across a range of sectors to assess current industry developments and discuss the needs and expectations of members.

As part of the visit programme, discussions were held with Ramazan Akdeniz, owner of a Samsung dealership, on developments in the household appliances and consumer electronics sector; Fevzi Demir, representative of Uzun Mobilya (İDAŞ), on the current state of the furniture industry; Sadık Pur, representative of Şimal Halı Mobilya, on developments in the carpet and furniture sectors; and Abdülhak Selami Özatağ, representative of Özsan İnşaat ve Sıhhi Tesisat Malzemeleri A.Ş., on recent developments in the construction and plumbing materials industry.

The programme also included meetings with Hatice Ay and Fatih Dönmez, representatives of Kütahya Yön Gayrimenkul Danışmanlık Hizmetleri Ltd. Şti., to discuss the real estate consultancy sector; Ali Rıza Muslu and Özgür Muslu, representatives of Muslu İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti., regarding the natural gas and climate control sector; and representatives of Kütahya Star Temizlik Hizmetleri Danışmanlık Emlak İnşaat Ltd. Şti. to evaluate current developments in the cleaning services industry.

The delegation further met with Sema Yurttaş and Salih Yurttaş, representatives of Sesa Akıllı Ev Teknolojileri (Bosch Dealership), to discuss the smart home technologies, household appliances and small domestic electrical appliances retail sector; Selçuk Şar, representative of Beyoğlu Börek, regarding the bakery retail sector; Bahar Erkan, Branch Manager of Emin Evim Tasarruf Finansmanı A.Ş. Kütahya Branch, to discuss developments in the financial services sector; Yücel Erim, representative of Erim Emlak, regarding the real estate sector; Eyüp Edin, representative of Edin Reklamcılık Organizasyon Ticaret Ltd. Şti., on developments in the advertising industry; and Feyyaz Özakşehir, operator of Fesleğen Restaurant, regarding the food and beverage services sector.

During the visits, the delegation received information about the businesses' activities and exchanged views on current sectoral developments, the economic outlook, production and service processes, market conditions, changes in consumer demand, investment plans, as well as the challenges faced by businesses and potential solutions. Members' requests, suggestions and expectations were also heard, and information was shared regarding KUTSO's ongoing activities and initiatives.

The KUTSO Board of Directors emphasised that these on-site member visits play a vital role in identifying sectoral needs first-hand, strengthening direct communication with members and developing solution-oriented initiatives. The Board also reaffirmed its commitment to continuing its support for members who contribute to production and employment.

At the conclusion of the visits, the KUTSO delegation thanked the business representatives for their warm hospitality and wished them continued success in their work.
