KUTSO CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS ESİN GÜRAL ARGAT ATTENDS THE NATIONAL DAY RECEPTION OF THE ARAB REPUBLIC OF EGYPT

Esin Güral Argat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KUTSO), attended the reception held at the Ankara HiltonSA Hotel to mark the 74th National Day of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Hosted by Wael Ibrahim Ali Badawi El Sheikh, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Türkiye, the reception was attended by Professor Dr Ömer Bolat, Minister of Trade, Hacı Ali Özel, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, senior government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of public institutions, and leading figures from the business community.

In his address, Ambassador Wael Badawi highlighted the longstanding historical ties between Türkiye and Egypt, as well as the strategic partnership that has gained significant momentum in recent years. Recalling that the two countries celebrated the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2025, he noted that bilateral trade had reached approximately USD 9 billion, spanning a wide range of strategic sectors, including defence and military manufacturing, construction, tourism, healthcare, transportation, oil and mining, family and social solidarity, and air and maritime connectivity.

During the reception, Esin Güral Argat met with diplomatic representatives and prominent members of the business community, engaging in a series of discussions and exchanges.

The reception served as an important platform for strengthening international diplomacy and economic cooperation, further reinforcing the friendly relations and shared vision of collaboration between Türkiye and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
