HAYKOP PRESIDENT YUSUF ÇALIŞKAN PAYS OFFICIAL VISIT TO KUTSO

Mr Yusuf Çalışkan, President of the Regional Union of the Kütahya Livestock Cooperative (HAYKOP) and Chairman of the Hisarcık Chamber of Agriculture, paid an official visit to Ms Esin Güral Argat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KUTSO), and Mr Emin Yüce, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.

During the meeting, the parties evaluated Kütahya’s current potential in the fields of agriculture and livestock farming, together with opportunities for future cooperation. Discussions focused on the province’s fertile agricultural land, its rich diversity of endemic plant species, the economic potential of medicinal and aromatic plants, opportunities to enhance agricultural production, and high value-added production models. Views were exchanged on these matters and their contribution to regional development.

Ms Esin Güral Argat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KUTSO, emphasised the strategic importance of the agriculture and livestock sectors to Kütahya’s economy and stated that KUTSO attaches great importance to all forms of cooperation that support production and rural development.
