Organised with the support of PADOK (Compass Search and Rescue and Outdoor Sports Association) in line with the sustainable ecotourism and outdoor recreation vision set out in the Kütahya Tourism Master Plan, the event offered participants the opportunity to enjoy an approximately 10-kilometre walk through the region’s natural landscape. In addition to experiencing the area's outstanding natural beauty, participants also highlighted Kütahya’s potential as an alternative tourism destination.

Commenting on the event, Esin Güral Argat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KUTSO, stated:

“We are celebrating our 100th anniversary in the spirit of nature, unity, and our shared values. We organised this walk to promote Kütahya’s natural assets, strengthen solidarity among our members, and draw attention to our city’s tourism potential. In line with the vision we have established through the Kütahya Tourism Master Plan, we will continue to implement initiatives that support a sustainable and environmentally responsible approach to tourism.”

As part of KUTSO’s centenary celebrations, the nature walk strengthened the spirit of unity, solidarity, and cooperation by bringing together representatives of the business community beyond the workplace. Throughout the event, participants enjoyed the unique natural surroundings while benefiting from a welcoming environment that fostered stronger communication and collaboration among Chamber members.

Following the walk, participants were served a meal, and the programme emphasised the importance of preserving, promoting, and passing on Kütahya’s natural and tourism assets to future generations. Through its 100th anniversary programme of social and cultural events, KUTSO will continue to strengthen institutional unity among its members while promoting the unique values of Kütahya to wider audiences.
