BRİEFİNG MEETİNG ON LABOUR INSPECTİONS REGARDİNG WORK EXECUTİON AND OCCUPATİONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY HELD AT KUTSO

Hosted by Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the “Briefing Meeting on Labour Inspections Regarding Work Execution and Occupational Health and Safety” was organised with the aim of increasing awareness in the field of occupational health and safety and providing information on workplace practices.

The opening speeches of the programme, organised by the Guidance and Inspection Presidency of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, were delivered by KUTSO 8th Professional Committee Chairman Mustafa Murat Aydın and Bursa Guidance and Inspection Group Chairman Gökhan Kuzu.

During the meeting held in the KUTSO Assembly Hall, presentations were delivered by Chief Labour Inspectors Şerif Çetin and Talha Bakırcıoğlu from the Ministry of Labour and Social Security. Within the scope of the programme, participants were informed about the activities of the Guidance and Inspection Presidency, the scope of labour and occupational health and safety inspections, frequently encountered issues in workplace practices, and implementation processes.

The programme was attended by KUTSO Board Member Semra Tozaraydın, Social Security Institution (SGK) Kütahya Provincial Director İsmail Sayar, Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) Provincial Director Erdoğan Şahin, Bursa Guidance and Inspection Group Deputy Chairpersons Burcu Şenol and Yasin Sezer, as well as representatives of the business community.

The programme concluded following the participants’ questions and evaluations.
