PROTOCOL SIGNED FOR THE KIKAF–METEF 2026 FAIR

The protocol concerning the “Kütahya Employment & Career, Vocational and Technical Education Fair (KIKAF–METEF 2026)”, to be held under the auspices of the Kütahya Governorship, was signed with the participation of H.E. Musa Işın, Governor of Kütahya; Esin Güral Argat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Erdoğan Şahin, Provincial Director of İŞKUR; Mustafa Yılmaz, Provincial Director of National Education of Kütahya; Emin Yüce, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kütahya Organized Industrial Zone; Mustafa Yenipazar, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the 30 Ağustos Organized Industrial Zone; Tunahan Ergin, Regional Director of the Kütahya Organized Industrial Zone; Murat Demir, Director of the 30 Ağustos Organized Industrial Zone; and H. Feyyaz Ebeoğlugil, Secretary General of KUTSO.

In her remarks, Esin Güral Argat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, drew attention to the fact that Kütahya’s greatest strength lies in its qualified human resources, and stated that directing this potential appropriately is a shared responsibility of all stakeholders. She emphasised that KIKAF–METEF 2026 has been designed as a sustainable and results-oriented platform bringing together the needs of the business community and the competencies of young people.

It was noted that the fair, to be held on 4–5 June 2026 at Zafer Square in front of the Governor’s Office, will offer significant opportunities for students, job-seeking citizens and employers, contribute to the wider dissemination of vocational education, and add value to Kütahya’s employment structure.

The fair will be organised under the coordination of the Kütahya Governorship, in cooperation with the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR), the Provincial Directorate of National Education, the Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KUTSO), the Kütahya Organized Industrial Zone, the 30 Ağustos Organized Industrial Zone and the Zafer Organized Industrial Zone.
