GENERAL DIRECTORATE OF THE TURKISH GRAIN BOARD (TMO) ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE EXTENSION OF THE DEADLINE FOR THE FEBRUARY 2026 ADDITIONAL CEREALS SALES INSTRUCTION
Dear Member,
Pursuant to the letter dated 24 February 2026 issued by the
Eskişehir Regional Directorate of the General Directorate of the Turkish Grain
Board (TMO), the deadline for the February 2026 additional cereals sales
instruction has been extended.
Products Subject to Sale
- 2023
crop year ELUS bread wheat
- 2024
and 2025 crop year ELUS bread wheat (priority liquidation stocks)
- 2023
crop year ELUS durum wheat
- 2024
and 2025 crop year ELUS durum wheat (priority liquidation stocks)
- Remaining
low-grade ELUS durum wheat from the February 2026 sales
The above-mentioned products are traded through the Turkish
Mercantile Exchange (TÜRİB), via Licensed Warehouse Product Market Intermediary
Institutions (ÜPAK), under the free sale method against cash payment in
advance, without distinction between natural or legal persons.
Revised Final Transaction Date
The final transaction date, previously set as 23 February
2026 (inclusive), has been revised to 24 February 2026 (inclusive).
Important Notes
- ELUS
sales shall be conducted through ÜPAKs.
- Buyers
must have completed account opening and membership procedures with the
relevant ÜPAKs.
- The
full product price must be available in the investment account at the
moment the clearing transaction is executed.
- In
all other respects, the prices, procedures and principles specified in the
referenced letter shall remain in effect.
For detailed information, transactions must be carried out
through the TÜRİB system.
